OUR STORY
We hail from small towns of Chhattisgarh, which has beautiful forests, variety of green produce and amazing waterfalls. While being employed in Mumbai, we were no stranger to a hard day’s work in the corporate world. Everything from staying late certain nights, hustling to meet deadlines, non-stop meetings, and being glued to our laptops. This barely even touches the tip of it all, as I’m sure a lot of you out there can relate. But nestled inside all of those challenges, there was one thing that we found the most challenging. Satisfying our hunger.
It was a common occurrence, at least a few times a day, to receive concerned phone calls from our mothers. “Are you eating your fruits and veggies?” the typical mother banter that most children are accustomed too. At a young age, it was instilled in all of us about how unhealthy junk foods are. Not to mention how easy it is to get your hands on it. Most heavily populated cities and towns in the world are decorated with fast food restaurants and service stations that will sell you sugary treats and fried stuff on the fly, no questions asked.
As I grew older, I started disregarding the expert advice of my mother, and my health started slowly deteriorating. I gained weight, I would normally feel lethargic, and I overall just felt tired most of the time, which ultimately started affecting my work and overall life.
Being a bit of foodie and having a growing interest in cooking, we started making energy bars. Not just any old energy bar mind you, ours are made from the great quality fruits, they’re chock full of nuts, and garnished with a fantastic blend of spices and cocoa. They were so delicious and nutritious, we enjoyed having them whenever we felt hungry. Before we knew it, our office colleagues caught wind of it and they started craving them as well. With receiving rave reviews about our energy bar, we thought, “Wow, there are so many people like us who are looking for a convenient, yet healthy snack to eat on the go.” and that was our Eureka moment.
Flash forward and here we are! That’s how started an amazing company with healthy ambitions and honest intentions, designed to offer hard-working people such as yourselves something that you will enjoy.
